Course Description:
The IAQA Indoor Environmentalist Course is a comprehensive program that covers contaminants,
health effects, building science, HVAC, inspections, sampling, remediation, standards
and more. Students completing the course receive a certificate of completion from the
IAQA, which is recognized for continuing education for organizations such as ABIH,
ACAC, and IICRC.
The two-day class also prepares you for ACAC's Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE)
and Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) certifications. The American Council
for Accredited Certification (ACAC) is an internationally recognized certifying body and
offers accredited certifications (unlike most other IAQ and mold certifying groups).
NOTE: For ACAC certifications, you must meet certain experience requirements
and pay a separate fee. Call Indoor Sciences directly at (312) 920-9393 for details.
