EMLab P&K Launches MoldRANGE Climate Report for Mold Testing in California
San Bruno, CA, August 23, 2013 – EMLab P&K, a TestAmerica company and the leading commercial indoor air quality (IAQ) laboratory in North America, announced the launch of the MoldRANGE™ California Climate report. EMLab P&K is the only mold laboratory that offers a scientifically developed tool to help IAQ professionals with their work by providing better insights for outdoor mold spore levels in California based on the zip code where the mold testing took place.
"Our MoldRANGE™ California Climate report helps clients save time and money by reducing the number of outdoor samples needed for analysis," said Dave Gallup, EMLab P&K's General Manager and Co-Founder. "We continue to lead the industry with innovative solutions and superior client service. This new report joins our growing list of innovations including: MoldSTAT™, MoldSCORE™, a wide array of reporting options, mobile apps for iPhone® and Android™, and the BioCassette™."
The new report was developed using the Köppen-Geiger climate classifications, one of the most widely used system for classifying the world's climates. MoldRANGE™ reference data for EMLab P&K's clients in California will be more precise and useful by utilizing the zip code of the mold sample. Previously, the MoldRANGE™ report provided data from the entire state. However, California has multiple climates from warm temperate areas to arid desert areas. As a result, each climate has its own unique range of outdoor mold spores. Now "MoldRANGE™ California Climate" provides improved data from the specific zip code where the mold sample was taken. The new report is now available for EMLab P&K's clients who perform mold testing in California.
